Learning benefit

Why play the game?
The objective of The Fresh Connection is to offer a web-based learning experience for supply chain professionals. It is not merely a game, but it is a serious game that will clearly show and substantially improve the expertise of supply chain professionals. They will go through a very steep learning curve because they directly experience what the consequences of their decisions are within the safe environment of a game.

One of the most important things participants of the game will experience, is that if they cooperate and make decisions with the entire supply chain in mind, they will yield the best results – both in terms of customer satisfaction and return on investment. This experience will go way beyond conventional learning in a classroom or from a textbook.

How to win the game?
The team that makes the highest return on investment will win. This can only be done by investing solely in what really matters and making the right supply chain choices.

A winning team

  • is not tempted by suboptimal choices and always works as a team
  • manages the risks in the supply chain, so that SCM provides the foundation for a healthy yield
  • concentrates on strategic and tactical decisions
  • exploits KPIs as a management instrument
  • focuses not only on competition, but also on cooperation!
